Founded in 2015 by Josef Schrattbauer as an owner-managed real estate company, the SPREE Group has succeeded in building up a Germany-wide real estate portfolio with over 5,000 residential and commercial units today. On the way to becoming a European player, the SPREE Group has accompanied real estate transactions worth over EUR 500 million since it was founded. 2015

Josef Schrattbauer founds the Spree Group with the aim of building a Germany-wide real estate portfolio.

2016

The Spree Group has a portfolio of over 5,000 residential units. With the takeover of Cenda GmbH (today Spree Management GmbH), a property manager with over 40 years of market presence, another important line of business was opened up. The essential areas of accounting, controlling and asset management are now completely mapped in-house.

2017

Business operations are supplemented by the area of project development. New construction projects with a volume of around EUR 200 million can now be implemented by Spree Erste Beteiligungs GmbH.

2020

Property management will be completely taken over by DIM AG, which operates nationwide, at the end of the year.

2021

A new milestone will be set in January 2021 with the move to the new head office at Kurfürstendamm. The asset management, development, financing, office management and management departments now work hand in hand with flat hierarchies and an efficient workflow.
