The setting is characterised by two architectural monuments. These are the Halenseestraße residential complex by Paul Baumgarten from 1936 and the 15-storey high-rise residential building by Felix Hinssen on Gillweg from 1958. The location is characteristic for the Kurfürstendamm and the villa colony “Grunewald”.
In terms of urban planning, the goal is to calm the surrounding area by using buildings of varying heights.
Both towers are connected by a three-storey intermediate building and clad with natural stone.
